I saw a video yesterday where a building inspector put a level on the ground in a new build and it wasnât level. Also had water leaks and the like.

Is it normal for an apartment (one of those 2-story ones) to not be perfectly flat?
I received a desk and chair from my employer⌠the chair has a tendency to kinda roll in one direction.

I wish more building inspectors actually inspected. All Iâve seen from most of them is they take a quick squizzy at the front door, and as long as it closes, all good!

Given the quality of builds here itâs not surprising.
Should it happen? Hell no.

I opened this message while eating, put my legs in the chair, and it started rolling back and only stopped after crashing into the couch behind me.

Currently writing this from my bedroom where itâs 2° below what it is outside! Low quality uninsulated house gang REPRESENT!

My windows donât do that anymore, but I used to live in a house in the country that had a hole in the floor from where a large air con pipe (like on those portable ones) had been pushed through the floorboards, and 4cm gaps under all the doors. Being a 6 year old in a house that whistled was fucking terrifying, especially when my mum had the bright idea to go and tell me ghost stories
