Ghostalmedia@lemmy.world 1 year agoLike annual flu shots, the covid shot are freaking amazing at keeping people alive and out of the hospital. Do the ensure that you won’t get sick? No. The point is to reduce severity and spread.

Plenty of vaccines do. More R&D is needed. Masking, particularly during new outbreaks is needed.
