Just cancelled my prime membership. In truth, I havenât been buying enough from Amazon to justify it, but it isnât something I think about all that often.
Then they emailed me last week saying âhey, weâll be introducing ads to Prime on July 1stâ
Yeah, nah. I canât justify that. What surprised me was though that it was moderately easy to cancel. I thought cancelling was needlessly complicated and they just got in trouble about that.

I think I still would have cancelled had they said âwe are increasing the price by $3, but you can stay at the current price and get adsâ. But I believe thatâs how Netflix would have worded it.
