The only reason is that we are so good at finding food we donât need to eat mouldy stuff. We can digest it, we just donât have any appetite for it.
Off foods, such as dairy or meats are different and you shouldnât eat those.

@Thornburywitch @Seagoon_ Some of the most delicious foods are basically mouldy (or at least use yeast or a culture of some kind).
Cheese, wine, bread, cake, yoghurt, kimchi...
And you probably don't want to know how salami is made.
