84 upvotes from others who have experienced this problem, and Hefty now makes bags called “grippers”, which contain elastic to combat this problem. I thought it was funny. I didn’t realize other readers were going to attack me over how I put a 13 gallon bag into a 13 gallon garbage can. Everyone can post here. No one is obligated to interact with the commenters. Sorry you feel differently.
