it annoys me so much how people say “yee oldee”, it’s literally just supposed to be pronounced like normal, but with stress on “the”, like “thee”

SturgiesYrFase@lemmy.ml 8 months agoAlways mad that typesetters got lazy, and we dropped Thorn from our alphabet. Everyone is all “ye olde English” snark snark…that’s cause they dropped thorn and used y instead…it’s still a Th sound…god…why can’t you people be nerds?!
