Asafum@feddit.nl 5 months agoThat one has me a bit torn because the n-word is used for any black person and obviously meant to hurt them. On the other hand, “the w-word” just means a white guy who dresses and acts like a gangsta rapper from the 90s-00s
Is that offensive?

I mean, they’re technically calling black people the N word by proxy (it’s mean to essentially be white + N word to refer to a white guy pretending to be/acting black). So it seems like a case of “if you’re not black you probably shouldn’t say it”.
