Anyone Bayside/SE burbs smell that smoke in the air? I know it was forecast to be a foggy start to the day, but it has this weird aroma to it and our air purifier is going nuts.

Itâs been awful in the hills. Generally itâs cleared by the afternoons but this afternoon itâs hit quite thick. Canât see the hills at all

Been hazy and smokey over here in the western suburbs for a few days. Today seems a bit worse though.

The closest one to me says that the from the 29th something suddenly polluted the air. Not sure what it is, but could be bushfires or a factory mishandling something.
The one in Sandringham says the airâs worse for some reason. Currently at âunhealthyâ. Best to stay indoors.
