None of the rabid violence of BLM needed, just hit the arteries of the economy by clogging them up, and symbolically demonstrating the importance of logistics and the impracticality of the mandates, never mind the extremism of them. Truckers can easily say they are not blocking the road, they are waiting for the road to clear - a kind of "I'm not Spartacus" moment, that makes any police or military action look extremist. Trudeau was then exposed as an extremist, and it's hard to see how he can continue in politics at all, or even in Canada at all. If that blonde MP becomes the new leader of the Canuck Tories, then maybe there's a replacement government ready and waiting?
Don't bring BLM into this. BLM was virtue signalling mixed with grifters making millions, democrats who wanted to win 2020, and actual criminals who killed and robbed openly, after defund the police became a thing.
If you want to compare to a real protest, take the Martin Luther King Jr. protests. Non violent civil disobedience to end real discrimination, just like against antivax today.

Don't get me wrong. I understand you were criticizing BLM.
I just don't like that people even call it a "protest".
To me, it was political theatre, without any real injustice worth protesting at its heart.

It was pretty significant for that Joel Skywalker or whatever his name is, to break ranks. Looks like a leadership challenge. It seems clear that Canada needs to reform its constitution and laws regarding sedition to protect human rights Same goes for UK, Aus, NZ, it's highlighted the need for the global Anglo right to protect itself against neonazis like Trudeau, Johnson, Ardern, Morrison.
