Libs haven't seen a real 'protest' in decades. Their manufactured outrage industry has a great relationship with mainstream media, and both have been lying and grifting the public for at least 3 decades now.

The situation is similar, but not identical across borders. In the UK, since the 80s, but especially since the mid 90s and "New Laboue" and "Blair", comedy shows were used as a vehicle for pushing political lectures.

Yeah, the postmodernist cancer spread, slowly through western academia. Nobody cared about these politics in govt Unis. And now the fruits of those seeds are here
I was railing about it since 2007. At that time it was already accepted that any man against the CAUSE is a sexist, racist pig. Back then, there was no pushback the way we have today post-Trump.
I think we have to wait another 10 years for the pushback to bring the pendulum to center

The pushback should be a century-long plan to not just push back, but push out and destroy the left in all its forms. In 50 years, a lot can be achieved, but you can see most socialist regimes struggle to last longer than a human lifetime. All empires collapse due to ultimately economic (including ecological and ideological) failings. Enduring belief systems are essentially ancient store of economic knowledge of what tended to work better. Core concepts around family are of course economically more stable and rational that the Huxleyan-Orwellian waking nightmare they try to impose. North Korea only survives through CCP supprt and organised crime. China's ponzi economy is collapsing as we speak, and North Korea is at risk of the drip being yanked out of it, and thus escalating a war of what it sees as self-preservation. The CCP lasted until the Asian Economic Crisis, since then it's been a fake-CCP façade, on a collosal debt binge that caused the major crack in the world economy on August 9th 2007. Since 2014, China's decline has been accelerating, and by 2018 then knew it was fucked. Covid came at an awfully convenient time to find an exogenous factor to blame for the collapse of both China, and the USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia, NZ and the EU, via their failing economies - because they are all coupled. The UK and EFTA have decoupled a bit, and are less vulnerable. Sterling is safer than the Swiss Franc, and bigger than the Norwegian Krone.
