Comment on Is it possible to change ones username on Lemmy?
tmpod@lemmy.pt 2 years agoDon't bleieve it is possible, due to how federation works. However, I'm unsure if it would be impossible to implement federated name changes. Something for @nutomic@lemmy.ml or @dessalines@lemmy.ml to answer.

It might be possible, but someone first needs to work on it. For me its far down the list of priorities, considering that you can just make a new account, and put a link to the old account in the bio.
