No, I called the tradie and he told me heâs not working. I just met the REA as she was in the building and sheâs arranged for someone else to come let me in. Hopefully this one comes soon.
What I donât understand is, how does the REA not know that the tradie is not working? How did they assign him a job without checking??? đ

The fire brigade donât make tradie recommendations. The only advice you will be given is to call a locksmith. There are plenty of 24hr locksmiths around, finding one and arranging it are up to you.
The only reason to call the fire brigade if you are locked in (or out) is if there is a life threatening emergency, like having an infant locked inside unatended or if you are a diabetic needing to access your insulin. In that case the brigade can attend and break the door down for you.
