I’ll give some people with older models a pass. Musk was less visibly a Nazi asshole back in the day. And maybe it’s just not feasible for them to buy a different car at the moment when they already have this one.
However, this pass never applies to Cybertruck owners, because Musk was already very public about it well before the first Cybertrucks were available to buy.
I can understand that about folks with older models, though he’s been a pos pretty publicly for around a decade at this point (I think it started when he got involved with those thai soccer team kids who were stuck in a cave and called the coach a pedophile for disagreeing with him).
That said, at least around me, the vast majority of teslas I see are models from the last couple years.

Even then, being a petty bitch and calling someone a pedophile is one thing. But doing multiple Nazi salutes on live TV is something else entirely.
I can see ignoring the former if you like the cars – if you limit your car-buying to brands whose CEO hasn’t done stupid, fucked-up shit, your list of available car brands is going to get very short very fast. But the latter? Fuck no. Not under any circumstances. If the only cars left in the world were Teslas, I’d ride my bicycle instead.

I remember the days of being flamed questioning his ‘genius’. I don’t think people know what genius actually is.
