That would be like saying depicting Netanyahu as a hook-nosed goblin is merely criticizing Israel. The reason it’s seen as racist to depict Xi as a yellow bear should not be difficult to put together.

Dude - the whole reason it became a meme is because someone made a cute comparison of how Xi looks like Pooh (which he objectively does) and the whiny little bitch threw a hissy fit and created his own personal Streisand effect. It has nothing to do with the Chinese people and everything to do with a thin-skinned dictator.
