They will just pay the fines and do what they want.
It’s just another expense for them. A cost of doing business, nothing else. Maybe they estimated that a delayed project will cost 100x more, so it’s cheaper to break some laws and finish up a bit earlier.
Truly arrogant and revolting, but it kinda makes sense if you think like a psychopath.
Psychopaths make excellent CEOs and executives. That’s why you’ll find thinking like this at the top.
Almost like that was the plan all along.
