This was the early nineties in southern Louisiana and I was 17. Ok that sounds exactly like what I’d expect out of a 17 year old in Louisiana in the early 90s lol. Definitely not ok behavior for any of the adults involved, like holy crap yikes, but it fits with how my friend has described the state
