can just put up sheer curtains instead. Store the rollers nicely and put them back when you leave. We had the olâ aluminium venetians for our last house stuffed in a cupboard for 12 years :P

Getting ready for summer by investing in some blockout curtains. Taking down the semi-sheer dark coloured bullshit roller blinds. Gonna start with adhesive rod hooks but I see renters are allowed to drill mounts these days. I think Iâd only need 1 extra hole and could do the sheer/blockout combo. Couldnât give a flying fuck about body corporate insisting on dark curtains, theyâll never know. Love a project!

Buy some of the blackout window film. It helps loads. Peels off easy too when renting.

I want something I can open and close or stick up and take down. I did get some of the plastic blockout sheets but they donât make em big enough for my window, so I had to carve them up and it looks like arse. Iâll figure something out!
