I bit the bullet and clicked through. The article cut off, but the headline seems a little misleading. They didn’t reject a finished game because it didn’t have enough slop. The devs said it wasn’t ready and they were told to ramp up AI use because people think more AI means faster turnaround.
Someone who has access to the full article can correct me if I am wrong.

AI being the future of literally everything as a modern snake oil is really attractive to stupid people. They feel like they are missing out if it isn’t crammed into everything.
