    The facts are Jesus said He murdered everybody (the flood) and that when He comes back He will murder everybody (the Apocalypse).

      What the mythical figure of Jesus said is what writers of the following centuries wanted him to say. There’s historical evidence of floods, but I doubt the average person in 30AD would know about them. Can you give me a source on that? Also, a source of him talking about the Apocalypse?

      We’re speaking purely of the historical figure, who preached a new religion that offended both the Jews (of which he was one) and the Romans. Everything that was written afterwards in some silly holy book is unreliable and tainted.

      Never said he was a god. I said he was, per the stories we know, not a murderer. He was at best a preacher who pissed off the Romans.

      I’m here because every moron on Lemmy that refuses to read past the headline forgets that this woman tortured and murdered a girl. She deserves her sentence but also deserves it to be competently carried out.
