    Publish it on Steam, add controller support and splitscreen and no MS account needed. That’s all I want. I want my kids to be able to play it on the living room TV without anyone having to do anything in order for it to happen.

    They could add another fictional animal in a vote (while a mod adds all the options before the vote finishes instead of just the winner).

    The game has limitless untapped potential.

    They could make a whole new dimensions that are essentially a new game plus. With new, harder mobs, bosses with actual mechanics, new gear, resources, etc.

    The creative sandbox aspect of the game is fantastic, I love creating things and seeing what other people make, but the survival aspect has had no real expansion. Their horrible balancing and failed combat update leaves no wiggle room for new weapons. The wooden axe does the same damage as a diamond sword.

        I have a lot. I want to see an official twist on it. Something that everyone can discuss and doesnt become irrelevant.

  Hi. I make fun of this too but it’s worth pointing out that Mojang does 100x the work to the game’s internals for speed, stability, modability, etc. It’s effectively a completely different codebase from version 1.0

    Well, they decided to make a new version and bottled it, so now have a lot of tech debt to catch up on. The Java version has had work for sure, but unpaid modders still do more for optimisation.

    I'm not sure on who the developers are anymore, but I sure hope the people working on the backend are not the ones relied on for new content either.
