altphoto@lemmy.today 13 hours agoTrump is doing something Algore could only have wet dreams about… Trump is ending the Diesel and internal combustion engine (poorly planned acronymy). He might not like it but as soon as he is out and all the refineries are in shambles something has to replace all that. Probably hydrogen, and battery powered vehicles.

It doesn’t matter. What matters is the guy is taming and cramming all the bulks he can find into the oil business China shop when the rest of the world leads in clean energy. When the dust settles, my guess is people will still be cold in winter and hot in summer and will still not care about where their energy comes from.
