  Well if I’m waiting for a bus on a street and someone walks up to me, pulls their pants down and starts violently shitting on the sidewalk, I’d feel pretty threatened despite not really being in physical danger at the moment.

  Are you familiar with biological viruses? A virus’ surface structures is precisely shaped to bind with particular molecules present on the host cell’s outer membrane.

  In other words, the virus appears to be a helpful protein by the cell, so it is accepted. However, what’s inside is anything but.

  That’s kinda what vibe coding is. It’s got the structure of something you’d expect, but upon close inspection it’s completely lacking nuance and understand of optimizations or code quality.
