And even if we wen Net Zero today, it doesn’t solve the issue.
CO2 acts like a blanket, and keeps warming the earth, so if we went Net Zero today global warming would keep going for the next ~thousand? Years

I wonder how much the aerosol from wildfires contributes to cooling too. It was noticeably cooler when the smoke was hanging in the air this summer. When we run out of forests to burn, not only will we have lost all that CO2 storage, smoke wont be contributing to cooling during the hottest phases of summer.
