18 months ago I upgraded my very old build one last time. I think the thread where I was asking about it should be in my history, actually. As part of that, I grabbed 16GB of DDR4 for $22. It was almost an afterthought. That exact same pair of sticks is now listed at $104.

DDR3 and DDR2 prices are also trending upwards. There was an article a month or two back about how used DDR2 was up 60%.
