the problem with russians visiting some countries is that they tend to take advantage of hospitality. so even just visiting eventually turns into an ugly mess because they just can’t help themselves.

OwOarchist@pawb.social 1 month agoYep. I would be fine with it if a bunch of Russians wanted to come visit Ukraine.
It’s when they kill and rape along the way that I have a problem with.

That’s not unique to Russians (but still not untrue about them). People on vacation abroad for some reason turn into the worst versions of themselves. Well, certain types of people anyway. You just don’t notice the rest.
We have a stereotype that Finns are all noisy drunk assholes. Turns out that doesn’t apply in Finland. Brits on stag-dos getting drunk and looking for women to fuck is a common sight in Tallinn, or at least used to be before Brexit. I don’t think I need to share the stereotypes people around the world have of American tourists either?

at least you never rented an apartment to a russian. man, it was a crime scene. and i’m almost not kidding - had to do a full on renovation afterwards because motherfucker couldn’t even use a power socket without busting it. never had an issue with any other nationals.

Yeah, Ukrainians are in such wonder anytime people from a distant and foreign culture like Russia come visit, that they kowtow and shower the tourists in gifts.

Don’t let them go back though. Letting them add back to Russia is stupid.

Well, if you want a dude with a pitchfork to be your border guard…sure.
