BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 3 weeks agoI can’t confirm any of that except the cooking part. There’s a German restaurant near us, and the entire menu is various forms of Wurst - sausages. Apparently, their entire culinary range consists of hot dogs.

To be fair, mcdonalds in the EU is not nearly the same as mcdonalds in the US.
It is somehow exponentially worse in the US.

McDonald’s is actually famous around the world because no matter where you walk into one, you get pretty much the same ‘quality’ of food. So USians love eating McDonald’s abroad.

there’s a fantastic german restaurant like that near us. wurst served with amazing housemade kraut. imported beer. gluhwein in winter
