CancerMancer@sh.itjust.works 1 week agoI doubt the people are ready for another orange wave, at least until Avi Lewis gets the local activist networks going again. On that note I encourage people to actually join the NDP and help get things rolling. Membership is very affordable (depends on region, was <$20 for me) and they will put every dollar and minute you’re willing to give to use.

Personally I wouldn’t bet on the next election. Grassroots power takes a lot longer to build, but it’s much more resilient in the long run. If you’re joining the NDP get ready to play the long game.
