    Well when it comes to mop techniques it comes down to 2 standard motions, the figure 8 and the linear stroke technique. The technique used is determined by several factors: room size, mop type, and floor material. Now, when it comes to choosing a mop there are several more factors than just room size and floor material. Mop head material, handle type, mop style (standard, powered, steam, spin).
