It’s complicated, he actually is (or was at least) a fairly skilled martial artist in the very specific style of Aikido. But as you correctly say, Aikidos effectiveness in the real world or in mixed-style fights is up for debate. His massive ego really doesn’t do him any favors.

Not really. Steven Seagal has never been in actually good shape or skilled at a real martial art. All of his fights are completely staged.
If you were to insult him, he’d be less dangerous than the average overweight middle-aged dad drunk from beers at a football gam
