No, the issue is about freedom and fighting authoritarianism
This law will not do anything about guns. It will allow the government and private companies to see and control your 3D printer.

I mean it mentions in the article & people are discussing in the comments that the govt & private companies will be able to see & control everyone’s 3D printers to the extent of recognizing & preventing plans to print any component for a firearm.
