Assassin’s Creed was so much better when they were still doing a present day plot. Getting out of the animus and playing as Desmond and unraveling the mystery of the present day was like half the appeal to me.

I miss the whole Desmond stuff. I was really hoping to get a lot more of it after what we got in 3. With Shadows staying entirely in the Animus with very little modern stuff it seems like the Modern stuff is going out in general unfortunately, at least to me
