iamthetot@piefed.ca 6 days agoThe Ubisoft launcher is a real pain to get working on Linux, at least for me it has been. There’s no official support so it’s all through WINE and such but it can be hit or miss in my expedience.

The thing that really pisses me off about it is that everything Pre-Unity refuses to stay signed in. I’ve ended up setting up a whole new Keychain app just so I can copy and paste the password easily.
I think to get the launcher to work itself I had a few hiccups but if I remember correctly I had to run under Proton Experimental to get it to install, then I could use any version of Proton I like
