This is a gross mischaracterization of anything you would do to “fix” issues on linux. If you think opening a terminal is programming then you should definitely stay away from linux.

It’s the impression I’ve gotten from people who use Linux, so if that’s not the case then I feel that’s on your community for misrepresenting how the OS works.

Your incorrect perception is no one’s fault but your own, quite frankly. You haven’t the technical literacy to discern what programming is.
Furthermore, this isn’t my community. That’s a hilarious statement. It’s no one individual’s community any more than you represent the community of shitposting.
