I’m the type of guy to say we ought to show the goodness of humanity even to our most evil members. But I’m not one to say you’re unjustified for any actions you take when that evil is right in front you, murdering a child. I won’t call your answer good, but I won’t call it wrong either.

Revenge is never good. Look at the American justice system and it’s horrors. All in the name of revenge. instead consider this happened and it may never happen again. So you put him in a prison that treats him humanely and never allows him to harm another soul.
