Naloxone saves some decent people but on the whole its existence increases human suffering and is bad for society as a whole.
Why do you say that?
Are people abusing it?
It lets addicts love longer, letting them both have and cause more suffering.

Feels weird to downvote anything in this whole thread, but this gets an exception for being a dangerous opinion.
We have a lifesaving medication that’s not just for addicts but ANYONE overdosing (children getting into parents meds, college kids not knowing what their friend just gave them, etc). Yes, many addicts may wind up needing it again if they aren’t careful, but to say a lifesaving medication is bad for society is just absurd.
