100%, I havenât put in the effort yet but this is my plan too. A second bathroom for the second bedroom even better â just in case a housemate becomes necessary. An apartment wonât appreciate like the money will but the benefits of a place you own are significant too.

I love where I live. The area is greatâŚbut Iâd love less feral neighbours. Iâm also the city hub for the whole family when needed, and that would be a hell of a lot simpler with another bedroom to put them in

I currently have ONE bed - mine.
As and when guests appear, my current solution is âAlamut sleeps on the living room floorâ. A second bedroom would be most helpful

I fully agree. This is why I moved into a 2 bedroom unit when I downsized. One room for me (not negotiable) and one for whoever with a mattress on the floor. I donât own a big enough couch for sleeping on (unless you are a cat). Funnily enough, my sons plus girlfriends of the day suddenly stopped treating my place as a sports hotel quite as often.
