Same story. I actually did bounce back after getting a bad performance review, but then I got let go anyway, now I’m both burned out and jaded.
I like software engineering, actually solving interesting problems. I didn’t sign up to be a condom between Claude and prod.

I dunno. Got any good ideas? I like software development but don’t have a lot of killer ideas for making money. Honestly I’d love to open a repair cafe, just not sure how I’d make money with that. I have some app ideas but they don’t get me jumping out of bed in the morning.

Not totally sure either. I do have an app idea I think might be promising (and I would legit pay to use myself if it existed) that I’ve been getting started in my off time, but I certainly don’t have the runway to fund if I quit/lost my job. Other than that, probably back to my college job dealing cards at the casino for the short term.
