Me too. After making so many for olā girl over the last few years Iām skipping right past it if Iām ever out at a restaurant. Shame really because some of the ones Iāve when out years ago have been amazing. If the soup has solids thatās okay but if just pureed no can do :(

I was never given soup when I was sick, so it canāt be that. Sick food was always dry crackers and flat lemonade.
Pumpkin soup is often pretty yucky. I donāt mind it with a reasonable amount of curry in it, or the one I had today had a lot of chicken stock to give it flavour. Pumpkin on itās own is just boring mush that is often a bit too sweet. It also had a fair few other vegetables in it, so it wasnāt just watered down pumpkin puree like a lot seem to be.
