Depends on how harmful their activism and projects are. Frankly there are people with all sorts of opinions. Just being religious and having a different opinion doesn’t make me want to boycott or cancel anybody. Most people in my family have vastly different opinions to mine but I still love them. Depends on the harm being caused. Doesn’t mean principles are being compromised.

lyralycan@sh.itjust.works 8 hours agosigh unfortunately there are a lot of cases where one must choose between upholding principles and enjoying genuinely good art. Nathan W. Pyle, David Draiman, Joanne Rowling… I’m drawing the line between ‘personally enjoying it’ while ‘ensuring my money doesn’t support the creator / publisher directly’ and ‘recommending others buy it’. I don’t agree with trying to stop people from enjoying it but I will encourage not allowing the problematic source to make money from it.
