In Ontario, we have no visible licence plate validation and most of the plates are illegible because of a corrupt deal between the government and 3M.

betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 3 weeks agoWhere do you believe they are not required? Some places let you get away with one on the front or back instead of both and a newly-purchased vehicle might have temporary paper tags but if it’s on the road, it needs to have some kind of license plate.
