Eh, when I bought my house I specifically stayed away from houses that were painted a single colour on the interior.

IrateAnteater@sh.itjust.works 11 hours agoWhen putting a house up for sale, you don’t paint the house white because of a shitty interior designer, you paint it white so that the buyer can easily paint it what they want. If, for example, you paint the walls red, and the buyer wants white, it’s going to take forever to get the red to stop bleeding through the white. Going from white to another colour however, is very quick and easy.

A house with fresh paint is a no-go for me when looking to buy.
Too much shit can be easily hidden behind layers of latex paint.
Unfortunately, I know from experience how much mold can be hidden by paint.
