    Hard disagree. Tax breaks don’t get that low. Nobody making 100k is setting up shell companies and passing on generational wealth. That’s food security, a decent vehicle, and enough buying power to get a mortgage on a really cheap house.

    It’s not nothing, but you’re not doing great. You have the buying power of two people making 30k 20 years ago.

    My father was able, as a tradesman 35 years ago to buy a house outright, have two cars, new clothes and a vactaion every year.

    My 3 bedroom apt was $800 a month in a nice area in the early 2000’s
