I seem to recall that the very same passage in their Bible that condemns lust as thoughtcrime also prescribes a remedy—and it’s to tear out your own leering eyes, not bar women from public spaces.

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away; it is better for you to lose one of your members than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

This isn’t barring women from public places, it’s a private establishment for men only. I think people are mainly upset about it because of how they pitched it.

If they just pitched it as a men only gym without any other reason, this probably wouldn’t be post worthy.

There are plenty of women only gyms within a 30 minute drive of where I used to live (a more metro area). Nothing to care about.
