Comment on She's just defending her country
7101334@lemmy.world 1 day agoI stopped watching the garbage show and am clearly not half as emotionally invested in it as you are, so I don’t recall specifically. I just remember there was one line in the show, iirc by the Nazi lady, which implied that anti-Zionism is akin to some MAGA mentality. It was the only time Zionism was ever specifically mentioned in the show so it shouldn’t be that hard for you to find if you care that much.
I never accused you of being a Zionist and don’t care what your ethnicity is (in terms of being discriminatory), deep breaths lol

Please… It’s not others job to find references for you. If you fail to reference something, that is your cape. We should not normalize outsourcing of referencing.
lets have good conversation ettiquette

I really don’t care if you believe me about a specific reference pertaining to a garbage show that hired a settler-terrorist for their cast.

We should also normalise not having people spend an hour or more to find references for that one claim. This is a niche internet shitposting forum not an academic journal.

If you don’t want to do research to support your claims, don’t make statements of fact that require verifiable claims.
People feeling free to post whatever fictional bullshit they’ve half-remembered is how we started down this path of “post-truth” nonsense. That’s wanting to be “right” without putting in the effort to make sure you are right.
Everyone is free to stop posting if they start walking into a conversation that is deep enough to require references: the person above did not.

You get that the standard here is more conversational than academic?
