How did people from Scala ad Cælum thrive, relearned keyblade magic, etc… Land of Departure folks would be 5th or seven generations after Missing Link era. This series is as nebulous as greek mythology, thus comparable to Transformers. A generation forgets or changes what the past said the past was, thus we are here. It is supposed to feel somewhat confusing, because a lot of apocalypses occurred, and people couldn’t keep their histories for the next generations. Nomura just wants to say we are doomed, because we do not keep records well or deceive the future generation, thus we repeat the same mistakes over and over and over again.
