  I posit we could remake some (not all) of the Muppet movies and still get good movies. Not the one with Tim Curry, that one had Tim Curry in it. Can’t be improved upon.

    Muppet Treasure Island has been in my top five movies of all time for as long as I can remember. In addition to Tim Curry, it has one of my favorite exchanges in all of cinematic history:

    “It just feels weird.”

    “What? That Captain Smollet is dead?”

    “Yeah, that… and my pants are filled with starfish.”

    “…you and your hobbies!”

        Putting things in pants that aren’t ordinarily in pants, especially while wearing said pants, it a time-honored trope.
