90% of the kids in those classes would never have thought to try it otherwise, but now that it’s mentioned in school, they’ll be thinking about it…

It is becoming a more common practice and people don’t realise how easy it is to kill someone accidentally. It’s not wrong to address that through education, although I’m not sure how or when would be there best time to educate about it.

Having more knowledge about this isn’t a bad thing. It seems like they’re teaching legal ramifications for non-consensual acts or for going too far, probably with a focus on personal ramifications as well.

I agree. And I think people will be less likely to do it non-consensually if they they know that the other person knows it’s illegal.
