I mean, that’s what scientist do all day long. They’re explaining it in theory and then seeing if that’s real or not. Also, you can explain how something works without understand what it is. Magnets, electricity, knowing when someone is staring at you, etc.

It’s not so much the (person B’s) understanding that’s the issue but the (person A’s) explaining
