Comment on British public more likely to prefer Count Binface wins Clacton by-election than Nigel Farage

When Count Binface started showing up in the news, an article was posted on Lemmy and a USian said something like “You guys have joke candidates?!” And someone (presumably UKian) said something like “Yeah, but at least we don’t vote them into office.”
