So you don’t consider astronomy to be a serious field?
There’s a lot more to astronomy than just knowing what kind of thing a thing is. We don’t just look at dots in the sky and say “ooh, that’s a neutron star, that’s a brown dwarf, and that’s a planet”.
And we don’t do that in taxonomy either.
